In the Beginning...

5 God-fearing, people-loving individuals wanted to start a church. They had a strong desire to help the homeless community and the youth within the community all the while bringing lost souls to the Lord.
So in 2020 with what few donations they acquired from various sources, Voice of Truth Church held their first Worship Service at Mr Gattis in April of 2020.
A small bar, Brewskees, you may remember at the busy corner of Valley Station Rd and Dixie Highway, became available and after many renovations and a couple of months later Here We Are !

So the CHURCH throughout all Judea and Galilee and Samaria had peace and was being built up. And walking in the fear of the Lord and in the comfort of the Holy Spirit it MULTIPLIED.

Daniel Gex (pronounced Jay)
was born and raised right here in the Valley Station area on February 12th. He graduated from Doss High School and married Laura on February 14th, who was born and raised in Shepherdsville, on July 28th. Daniel and Laura have 2 sons and 5 grand children.
Daniel received his "Pastor Calling" in 2020 - 2021 and he wanted his ministry to primarily focus on the Youth, Community and the Homeless. With his 4 disciples he sat out to develop a Voice of Truth Church Mission statement. Core Values and Who We Are statements were written, introduced and adopted by the small congregation. Daniel believes strongly in these statements and continues to lead his flock with his messages, never forgetting his primary focus and Mission and Vision Statements.
