Meet Our Pastor
Daniel GexÂ
was born in Louisville KY and raised right here in the Valley Station area. He met his wife, Laura, who was born here in Louisville KY also. Daniel and Laura raised 2 sons and have been blessed with 5 grand children.
Daniel received his "Pastor Calling" in 2020 - 2021 and he wanted his ministry to primarily focus on 2 goals. 1. Develop a Community outreach program and 2. Being the hands and feet of Jesus, spreading the gospel.Â
With his 4 disciples he sat out to develop a Voice of Truth Church Mission statement. Core Values and Who We Are statements were written, introduced and adopted by the small congregation. Daniel believes strongly in these statements and continues to lead his flock with his messages, never forgetting his primary focus
Voice of Truth Church is a member of the Kentucky Baptist Convention (KBC) and Pastor Daniel adheres to their 2000 Message and beliefs.Â
Pastor Daniel has a unique "preaching" style that you will enjoy. Join us sometime for a sample. You will be back!             Â

In the Beginning...
5 God-fearing, people-loving individuals decided to start a church in the Valley Station area. A building (previously Brewskee's Bar & Grill)
was secured and reconstruction began in the months of 2020.
Services were held at the adjacent Mr. Gatti's restaurant as the little church took shape. Pastor Daniel and his 4 disciples created a Mission Statement and a Vision for Voice of Truth of Church. Pastor Daniel had 2 main goals; 1) Bring the Gospel to the community, especially the youth, 2) Help the "Less Fortunate". Helping the "less fortunate" quickly turned into the community perceiving that our little church was a" homeless shelter"... we helped so many.
In fact we were still a church and holding services. The City of Louisville stepped in with resources that our church could not provide.
So while we do not see as many "less fortunate" for shelter, we do welcome EVERYONEÂ for worship of our Lord, Jesus ChristÂ
